This tool helps export data from Access database to Excel file.
Withdata AccessToExcel is a tool to export Access data to Excel file. You can choose to export only a single table of data or all of the tables or find data through a SQL query and export the lot. When exporting multiple tables you can do the transfer to a single sheet on the Excel or on different sheets. When exporting the data, the tool will support memo and OLE object types too. It is easy to configure and you get to see a progress bar along with a time estimation. On the interface too you get indications as each of the selected table is completely unloaded. While, that is useful by itself, when everything is going fine, what really helps is the ability of the tool to collect logs. Should anything go wrong, you have access to clues of what could have gone wrong. The feature of saving the session parameters also is useful as you could use the saved parameters repeatedly and do not need to set up a session every time. This is particularly useful when you need to do routine transfers many times, saves you quite a bit of hassles. The transfers could be scheduled, thus making the life of IT guys quite easy. Routine transfers could easily be scheduled for non-peak hours. Command line mode also helps automating large transfers when no one need baby-sit the process. The interface is simple and intuitive and the tool can use either the 2003 (XLS) or the 2007/10 (XLSX) versions of the Excel files. It is a nice and handy tool alright!
